Pyramid Solitaire is a popular and engaging card game designed for one player. Objective

The primary objective of Pyramid Solitaire is to clear all cards from the tableau by pairing them together. The ultimate goal is to remove all 28 King cards, which are essential for winning the game.

Setup

1. Shuffle a standard deck of 52 playing cards and deal seven cards in a pyramid shape as follows:

   Card 1
   Card 2    Card 3
   Card 4    Card 5    Card 6
   Card 7    Card 8    Card 9    Card 10
   

2. Place the remaining cards in a face-down deck, which will serve as your draw pile. The top card of the deck is turned face-up and placed next to the pyramid as the Waste pile.

How to Play

1. Start by pairing exposed (face-up) King cards from the pyramid or the Waste pile. Once a pair of Kings is found, remove them from the game.

2. To reveal more cards in the pyramid, click on face-down cards that have a value equal to or one less than the face-up card in the Waste pile. For example, if the Waste pile has a 5, you can flip a card with a value of 4 or lower.

3. Continue pairing Kings and revealing cards until no more moves can be made. If the game cannot progress, turn over the top card of the draw pile and add it to the Waste pile. This process is called a "draw."

4. Draw as many times as necessary, but remember that each draw adds one card to the Waste pile. When the draw pile is exhausted, turn the Waste pile over to create a new draw pile. However, if the Waste pile contains more than one card when you run out of cards in the draw pile, the game is over.

5. The game continues until all 28 King cards are paired and removed from the tableau. If no moves can be made after drawing three times with the new draw pile (including the Waste pile), the game is lost.

Scoring and End of Game

The game ends when either all 28 King cards are removed, or no more moves can be made after three draws from the new draw pile. If you win, your score is calculated as follows:

• Points for paired Kings: Each King card that was successfully paired contributes 50 points to your score.
• Bonus points for remaining cards: Any remaining cards in the pyramid that are not Kings contribute additional points based on their face value: Aces (1), Twos (2), Threes (3) ..., Tens (10), Jacks (11), Queens (12), and Kings (13).
